About Mohammed Saif Zaveri →Wafer Consumables: FAQs
What are wafer consumables?
The materials a wafer line uses up in normal production: diamond wire, slicing coolant, resin plates and glue, cleaning chemicals, filters, crucibles, seed crystals and argon. They are a recurring cost per wafer, unlike machines or spare parts.
Can you supply on a monthly schedule?
Yes. Recurring supply is planned against your monthly wafer output so stock does not run short.
Which wire diameters?
Diamond wire from about 30 to 50 µm, chosen with your slicer, wafer thickness and kerf-loss target.
Begin with the requirement, not a catalogue.
